On the other hand, managers must understand the best strategies that increase the success in overcoming resistance to change in the organizations.In need of improvement, the management tends to implement various changes in the organization relating to the operating efficiency. However, change acceptance requires the use of better strategies that reduces resistance to change. In the case, the administrative staff is expected to address different issues relating to the opera ting efficiency of the sterile supply division of materials management. The first approach towards dealing with resistance in the situation include ensuring the people in the department participate in making the change. The registered nurse and her staff should provide opinions on the issues concerning the department to ensure the changes made are acceptable. Involving them will help in winning their cooperation and support as well as reducing the resistance (Cummings Worley, 2009).The next approach requires understanding the nature of the managers resistance and how the resistance is created.
